Green Worldwide Reaffirms UN Global Compact Commitment to Sustainability

Green Worldwide Shipping, a leading, Atlanta-headquartered provider of international logistics and Customs brokerage, proudly reaffirmed its commitment to the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact initiative, releasing its first communication on progress since joining in 2016.  Green Worldwide believes in a firm foundation of respect for all stakeholders – including vendors, customers, and employees – but especially for the global environment and generations to come.

The United Nations Global Compact is a voluntary initiative based on CEO commitments to implement universal sustainability principles and to take steps to support UN goals.  Cited as the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, Global Compact is a call to companies to align strategies and operations with universal principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption, and take actions that advance societal goals.

Green Worldwide believes sustainability is an issue that impact everyone and sustainable business practices are achievable goals for clients and Green.  As an important player in the international area of logistics, Green is dedicated to seeking out and implementing innovative and eco-friendly transportation solutions.  In upholding these basic responsibilities to our fellow man, we set the stage for long-term success.
